Luxor was already beautiful, and I especially liked the reliefs at Abydos. The ceiling at Dendera was also worth the detour. I'm glad to have discovered these two places.
We loved the moments on deck between visits. The scenery drifted by slowly, and the stop at Kom Ombo especially pleased us.
Going to the temple by boat was very pleasant. At the obelisk it is interesting to hear how they worked the stone, and the dam offers a beautiful view over the water.
Inside, the feeling is completely different from the photos. It was good that they explained which drawings to look at. At the colossi we also had time to take photos in peace.
We visited both temples and looked at the big statues at the entrance. The size of the figures and the story of how the whole complex was moved to a new site stayed with us.
Visited the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple and the temples on the East Bank. The painted tombs were the part I remember best.
We sailed from Luxor to Aswan, stopping at temples along the way. What I remember most is Philae and the evenings on deck with a view of the Nile.
We visited both temples. The huge statues at the entrance and the carvings inside stayed with me. The story of how the temples were moved was fascinating too.
We visited the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's temple. The paintings in the tombs left an impression on me, as did the terraces in front of the cliffs.
